「Taketomijima(Taketomi Island)」
The people of Taketomi Island have lived closely connected with nature on the island. Okinawa's picturesque traditional village, now synonymous with the island, has been nurtured by the harmony between nature and people's lives. We will collect entrance fees to maintain these connections between nature, festivals and customs, traditional crafts, houses and streets that have been inherited from our ancestors, to pass on to future generations coming 10 years, 20 years later, and 100 years later. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
